U.S. Launches Immigration "Gold Card" Website With $5 Million Price Tag

The U.S. government has officially launched a new website offering a so-called “Trump Card” — a premium immigration pathway priced at $5 million — after months of anticipation.

The website, trumpcard.gov, went live on June 11, featuring a golden ID card emblazoned with a photo and signature of former President Donald Trump. The launch follows repeated statements from U.S. officials hinting at the program’s upcoming debut.

Prospective applicants are prompted to fill out basic personal information, including full name, country of residence, and contact details. The site accepts applications from individuals in eight global regions: Europe, Asia (including the Middle East), North America, Oceania, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and Africa.

“With $5 million, the Trump Card is yours! Thousands have already called to ask how they can secure their path to the greatest country and market on Earth,” Trump wrote on Truth Social to promote the launch.

First unveiled by Trump in February, the $5 million “Gold Card” aims to revamp the EB-5 investor visa program by attracting high-net-worth individuals from abroad. Unlike the traditional green card, holders of the Trump Card are promised enhanced benefits, including U.S. residency, work authorization, and a major tax break: no federal income tax on foreign earnings — a privilege not even afforded to American citizens.

Trump's team believes the program could generate significant revenue and help ease the federal debt burden.
